Sunroof (WITH A TWIST)

Hi guys so i have a predicament of sorts.

Last year i had a terrible sunroof leak. I did what any do it yourself pikey would do and removed the sunroof, whacked on some silicone, tightened the bolts and away i went. Until now. I now have a leak once again in the same place and s**t loads of silicone everywhere already. So my question is this. How the hell do i remove 2 tubes of silicone without taking paint with it.

Silicone sealant won't remove paint, it should just peel off? What kind did you use?

Locktite stuff cant remember the name. What so hot water and a credit card?

there is proper silicon remove for sale in your local by shop

carefully take it out it shouldnt pull the paint. id cut round it gently while pushing up the sunroof. the roof ripples very easy.
dont use sealer it splits due to the flex in the roof

Ahhh yeah i can see thats what has happened. What is a better alternative?

lots and lots of tardis and lots and lots of elbow grease with a microfibre.

use a proper sealer like tiger seal to put it in wont split and firms up the roof old rubbish silicone will just rub off
