:)

I'm going for the KTR solid mounts - especially since they now come in black.

Do not get AST ones i can say that much. Nightmare to fit on stock suspension if you can get them fitted.

^^ maybe because they are designed for AST coilovers ;)

Mine fit to FK's perfectly fine...just seems AST have f*cked up with the design of the nuts completely this time round :dapprove: I got them cheap off another member early in 2009, and the bonus was not having to drill holes round the strut top!

Whats these Gaz ones that are apparently being released shortly?

^ Not if they've been machined by the supplier to fit OE dampers.

:rasp:

Fare point ;). Shame they aren't interchangable though.

Thats why they designed them like that so you dont have to drill holes in strut tops. Thats a sh*t design having to do that imo cos u can never put car back to original. Most dont want to have to drill the car to strut top!!! I know i didnt.
The whole arguement about things not being machined properly imo is because people arent dealing with curtis direct and are either buying them from a so called company that have no idea what they are actually selling (no names mentioned) or buying second hand and then slagging them off cos they dont fit the suspension theyve got.
The truth is they were only ever designed to fit AST coilovers but can be machined to fit other types of suspension if required but like i said, speak to curtis direct and get him to sort it properly first!!

the Mark Fish ones seem to be the best, nice if you've got enough $$$ to spend !

On my want list anyway. I'm getting my first "knocking" from the front end on full lock so i'm guessing my oem ones have had their best days.
