Super DOT 4

Is Super DOT 4 Brake Fluid OK to use on my Clio 182??

Sorting out the Brakes on Friday Night and my Friend has never dealt with aClio RS Brakes before so just wanted me to make sure that it will be ok to use,

I'm using castrol super response dot 4. Works fine. I've heard good things about ate blue aswell.

I'm planning on using castrol super response dot 4 on my wifes 182 this weekend.

Works great on my fabia. Never boiled it.

There is no problem in using it.

I changed it recently, and I put it to the Dot5.1 by Ferodo, special with ABS .

Which is more Suitable for aCar used mainly on the Road and Occasionally on the Track,

4 or 5.1??

K-Tec suggested the Castrol Super Response dot 4 as a usual favourite for the 1*2s when I was ordering my front brakes from them

I changed mine to the Castrol Super DOT4 about a month back. No problems noticed since.

Thats the reason I went to Super Dot 4. Got fed up changing the fluid every 6 months.

I'd stick with the castrol super dot 4 mate. Great stuff. Plus you don't need to worry about fully bleeding the dot 4 out to put dot 5.1 in. Opieoils is about a tenner for a litre.

Turnsw out I had Dot 4 in it anyway,

Fully Flushed and Bled with Fresh Fluid though so all good..... Loads more Miles left in the Greens so will give me time to save some Pennies for DS2500 Front and Rear

Uncovered a knackered CV Gaitor while bleeding though so not all good

Are 182 failed an MOT due to a insecure CV joint. Really messy cleaning the old grease off and then putting some new grease in.

It was a right mess but with alot of Tissue and Engine Degreaser it was all clean and ready for regreasing
