Superchip problems

Ever since I had my superchip fitted my car make a knocking niose from the engine when I start it up sometimes, after I rev the engine it goes away??. also the car belts out a hell of alota white smoke until the engine gets warm. It this normal? are the two related? Ive also got a hillpower iK and a magnex cat back system. The car runs better than before. So performance doesnt seem to be affected. Its just worrying when it makes the deep knocking noise.

ummm knocking sounds can be anything from a nackered engine mount to big end problems hard to say realy.

white smoke is water vapour. CONdensation collects inside as it cools and its also a by product of the cat.

Yeah I thought the white smoke was harmless condensation, but just in case. Well the knocking revs with the engine so its not a mount. could the engine be starved of fuel when starting up due to the chip???

that wont result in a knock, it will result in the car basically not starting.

What sort of knock is it?

tappy tappy, or clunk clunk?

Cluck cluck. But after a few seconds literally the engine goes back to normal??? until I start it up again???

Prob cos the cars been thrashed more cos of the chip and its not good for the engine hehe. To me it sounds like an engine mount or something. check to see if ur engine rocks about much. the white smoke sounds like condensation yeah. But shouldnt be doin it much when the weathers warmer.

Vrooooooooooooom!!!!!. The knocking revs with the engine???? are you sure this would be a mount???
