Superchipped ECU

I Bought an ECU for my 1.8 16v ph2 like an idiot without checking the chips inside were the same as mine. Does anyone have a table showing which superchips chips replace which ecus chips? If its the same replacement part then ill just swap them over

There is only once chip you replace.

Its slap bang in the middle of the board, and taking it depends if they put in a chip socket or if it soldered on direct.

Its the chip which has a little indent on one of the long ends, make sure you put it back the same way.

the chip replaced on this ecu is in a cradle and with the connecting pins towards you is the far right chip. Is this the one you mean?

When i said superchips i meant the name of the company and when i said ecus i meant because the 2 ecus have different chips.

Its confusing i know, Im looking to see whether i can put the superchip from the Chipped ECU i just bought into my existing ecu.

The internal chips have different numbers i didnt check this when i bought it.

The car doesnt start with this ecu

You can swap the chips yes, it takes about 2 mins.

But it should start on any clio 16v ECU.

They both came off a 1.8 16v ph2 they look exactly the same with a few minor differences they have the same part number but the chips inside have different numbers on them. When i put the new one in the temp shows 16c in the dash and the immobiliser wont turn off.

is it a key-fob immobiliser? if so itll be coded 2 that specific ECU (the original)

even though the rest of the chips are different still this will work?

it will if u do it right! r they both soldered directly 2 the board? (i.e. no carrier). if so, like u say de-solder both, swap them round makin sure chip is in right way round, re-solder (makin sure not to put a big blob between 2 circuits!!)

i thought you said it had a carrier already?

Any electronisc place should be able to put a carrier in your old one if it aint got one. Then you just press it in.
