Suspension Leak

I have just bought a Clio 172 and took it in to get its 24000 miles service. The Mechanic has just stated over the phone to me that my car has a rear shock that is leaking and its £100ish to get it sorted and the shocks arnt covered in the warranty. Is this correct. My car is less than 2yrs old (just) and is covered by a 3yr warranty and yet im still paying to get the thing fixed :( has anybody had a similar problem and is there anything i can do? Thanks

i would have thought that it is a warranty item, would ring Renault Customer Services and check.

jusus, they are about 35 quid, and its a ten min job mate trust me

Where are they £35? Not questioning it, just need one myself and cant find them. Also, even though its 35 quid, theres no point shelling out if you can avoid it. :)

Same here!

£98.00 fitted by Reno.

172 on 03 plate not covered by warranty, which is piss poor!

Seems they choose want is and is not covered
