Suspension - lowering

I need sum advice guys. I have got a 1.6 16v 05 plate Clio Dynamique. The standard alloys r 15inch. Think i mite change to 16 or 17s and lower profile tyres to keep overall diameter similar.

I then want to lower it...but shud i jst change springs, or do shox aswel???

Don't get Spax stuff its useless in my experiance and others.

best chnage springs and shocks IMO few people listen though as its more expensive.
Apex kits are good value or if you've a bit more to spend FK coilovers are very good.
