hi all
when i pull off from a stand still, just normal driving, i get this faint clunking sound from my drivers side, when i also lift off it clunks sometimes, i have had a leaking CV joint gaiter which i then tightened up, and do wonder if its a mullered CV joint. but when i do over bumpy ground fairly slow there is a really loud knocking noice from the front end and you can feel it through the wheel. I thought i had a worn n/s damper but that wasnt the case. Im thinking top mounts but havnt a clue what worn ones would sound like or the symptoms:
on a lighter note i have fitted a GDI
