when the car was in warranty the other day, i drove a different clio cover car. The ride height on that thing was higher than my dynamique. I know the 172 has different suspension, but the dynamique must have too. I think when i bought it i remember reading it had a "sports suspension pack" on it. not sure, ill dig out the old product catalogue later.

Clio 1.6 16V
The Dynamique does have "sport" suspension which is firmer than standard as I can vouch from owning the 1.6. My daughter ha s a standard 1.2 16V which is "soft" and comfortable by comparison. Again the 172 is "firm " and certainly more predictable when compared to the Dynamique. So all the packages are relative by comparison!
