Suspension problems- help!

Hi, i finally had time to try and change my rear suspension on my '94 clio, and i took off the bottom bolt from the strut. Then, i unscrewed the nut and bolt at the top halfway, but then it just stopped turning. Its not coming off, OR going back on.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks
