Suspension...Which brand?

Looking to upgrade the suspension on my valver and i just wondered firstly whether coilovers are worth the extra money over springs and dampers?
and secondly what are the best coilovers to go for around the £400-500, bearing in mind that it is a daily driver.

Recently fitted the KW kit to my 172, really pleased with it. I know it's a little more expensive than you are looking at, but to me well worth it.

Avo's are the best I think for that money.
Coilovers are better made then just dampers and springs usualy it depends what you want though both have advantages.

FK's are pritty good on mines. Around the £500 mark for the konig sports iirc

not sure on the mk1s but fks were mint on my old car. Get in touch with joh2modified (2modified.com) hes doing a group buy at the mo.

Mine handled like it was on rails, def worth the extra

my fks are pretty good although still too soft on track imo (from the small amount ive done)
