  Williams Clio
I currently have a set of H&R coilovers and Bilstein rear dampers to fit on to my williams.

Last week i managed to lower the rear of my car but have yet to fit the dampers. The rear dampers are the shortened versions and i noticed that there is a lose metal washer of some sort that slides up and down the dampers shaft. Is this simply a bump stop as it seems rather odd that its made of metal and not rubber?

To fit the rear dampers is is simply a matter un-bolting the olds ones with the car up on jacks and bolting on the new ones?

Also is there anything i should replace when fitting the front coilovers, bearings rubber mounts bolts etc?

And one last question is there a guide to fitting the front struts anywhere?

Thanks Adi

Chnage the bottom ball joint as well they can sometimes wear heavily and the difference is noticable. Also I'd chnage all the rubber on the anti roll bars etc.

Easy to chnage the struts though only 3 bolts to undo 6 if you include swopping the bottom ball joints assuming there not much rust.

Euro car parts etc sell them.
Powerflex etc sell stiffer ones but due to the problems with these sometimes I'd stay with the standard Renault ones there not much.
