Swapping 182 ecu kit into 172 cup and visa versa

Want to put my cams from my 182 in my 172 cup track car for obvious reasons but really don't want to have the car remapped once it's all done. I've got access to clip to reconfigure things but is this a reconfiguration which is actually possible.

I plan to put the 182 ecu kit into the 172 and the 172 kit into the 182. I don't mind forking out for a 182 ecu kit if that's going to be easier but don't want a lot of lights on in the 172 which I can't get rid of. Any help appreciated.

reconfigure the uch and that's pretty much it. afik you can reconfig for tc etc.
