SWAPPING ECU’S

I HAVE BEEN TOLD TODAY THAT I HAVE A R19 16V ECU IN MY WILLY!SURLY THIS CANT BE ANYGOOD FOR THE ENGINE? ETC TEC

WHY DO THEY DO THIS?

AND WHAT PROBS WILL IT CAUSE EG DOWN ON POWER ETC?

you may get a slight power loss with the wrong ecu.why do you think its wrong?

Post the part-numbers that can be found on the ecu.

Both "S" and HOM7700 numbers and we can surely say what ecu you have.

the previous owner must have swapped it. You will be much better off with a 2.0 ecu from a williams!
