Swapping from coilovers back to standard suspension.

So I've removed my vmaxx coilovers and I'm currently fitting standard shocks with cooksport springs.

The rears are fitted but I'm having trouble on the fronts. I've removed the old coilover and used the original parts to build up the front shocks and springs. I get it into position to fit back up and feed the strut through the top mount hole and connected the top mount.

But for the life of me I cannot move the lower part of the shock over the driveshaft for it to line up with the hub bolt holes.

I run a wilwood caliper kit and have removed the caliper due to stress on the braided line.

Anyhelp would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mark.

  A special one.
Stop being a big girl, move the hub forwards and the bottom of the strut should slip in between.

Its a bit tight and the strut will hit the CV boot, just hold it up.

If you have done the top nut up tight then this might be your problem, so loosen it off untill its almost un done.

Oh and with the caliper off it should be a piece of piss

Another thought, do you have both wheels off o fthe ground??? If not then you are fighting with the anti roll bar with the other wheel being on the ground.

Failing that pm me and ill give you a call.
