Swirly MMS help

does anyone know the settings for swirly mms on orange?

I have installed swirly and it says I have 3mms to fetch, but when I click fetch it says either 'cannot connect' or 'check your settings'

Do I need to have wifi off?

Yes, you need wifi off as it need to aunthenticate via the operators network not the wife connection your on.

Do you know what MMSC and proxy i need?

Proxy: 192.168.224.10:8080
Apn: orangemms
User: orange
Password: multimedia

Try those, my mate at work is on ornage and it works fine with these settings!

no, you dont put in http:// and the settings are the same for edge

Ok cheers mate, im still not having any luck.. It comes up with the 'Fetching MMS' screen now, it didnt before i took out the http://

it says its unable to locate host.. Maybe its not got an edge connection?

I take it i need to have the 'E' showing in the small blue box to get the MMS's?

PASSWORD: password

I am on 02 and it works fine, you may need to call 02 and ask them to activate mms if your on a iphone contract, they might say that the iphone cant use mms but just say you sometimes use a phone with mms and they will then activate it!

Just keep trying it, mine sometimes doesnt retrieve everytime, i just try it again and it works fine!

Yes you need the Green E to be lit up.

I've just tried deleting the 8080 part and that seems to have helped.. Still havent got them..

Cheers i only had the mmsc and proxy before.
It syas ive fetched one item,just need to get mobile finder now.
It did this without the edge logo on aswel.

Ive found the file in finder but cant view it and mobile preview doesnt do anything
