T/C for a Cup!!

Goodyear eagle F1s!

Lost a tiny bit of dry road grip over the contis, but thats more than made up for in the new found wet grip, ride quality, turn in, and most important driftable lift off oversteer!

lol i got some f1 fitted on friday and they are bloody amzing..the grip so well and look good..i like the little lip to semi protect the edge of the alloys from the wife!!!!

£350!!!! Where was that from, I paid £290 for 4 Eagle F1 GD-D3 for the 172 from Kwik Fit.

Either way, worth every penny. :D

Wait until they are run in then in the dry they blow the contis away.

done 6k in my contis and theyre nearly down to the wearbar, i dont wheel spin an awful lot so theyre not exactly a hard wearing tyre. Uniroyals for me next i think

Uniroyals are more pap than the contis I reckon. Go for the Goodyears or Pirelli P zero neros.

The Uniroyals I had (rainsports) were good in the wet but crap in the dry - and the tread started breaking off in little lumps due to hard cornering. The Pirellis are brilliant in all weathers.

Definately recommend f1s to anyone, soon as i wear out my contis im going back to goodyears. And like cuppy said it makes em harder to kurb which is handy as ive just done my 3rd alloy yesterday!

Anyone fitting 205s to their CUP yet?
no but when i got my toyos fitted i was told 205s would be a lot better on the 172s with the 195s theres a slight bulge on the tyre wall!
