I've just noticed that picture too and its me driving in the photo in fact I drive the car all day on the Brecon Drive I organised in 2008 This is the photo its taken from on the Black Mountain




I wouldnt have thought Andy is selling his Trophy not after all the cash he has laid out recently.

Hello mate - that would have been me. I was on the way over to K-Tec to grab some new bits for the Trophy and to get some 'issues' sorted out.

Damn, I keep missing it! I'm going to keep hitting refresh until it pops up now! LOL!

No way, the Trophy is definitely a keeper mate. Too attatched to it to let it go.

Andy I didnt submit the photo for the banner, its has the copy right on it to photography and Rebel I didnt take the picture as I'm the one driving Trophy, followed by Jonny in his Trophy if I remember correctly I thought it must have been you who submitted it for the banner? You should have submitted the one of me with it on 3 wheels

Hope things went better at K-Tec then they did on your last visit and your car is running better now

Hi Lyn, I submitted a group of photos a way back for inclusion in the banner and had no idea it had been used (I'm still yet to see it pop up!) I do remember that Rebel Motorsport Club drive well; a very enjoyable meet/drive it was, too ("Trophy Twins" seems to ring a bell...). The way you drove the Trophy around some of those bends I'm surprised I didn't get photos of it on two wheels sometimes, nevermind three! LOL!

I hope the LY and the Type-R are both running well; I'm sure they are both getting plenty of driving time over some of the great roads around our neck of the woods.

Things went well yesterday ay K-Tec - picked up the bits I needed and finally got the new two-piece filter solution which is MUCH better. I still have a few issues which is frustrating. The engine is breathing extremely heavily and somewhat down on power and torque and I have oil leaks in three different places. Oh well, getting there slowly...

I didn't realise you were down that way mate, hence I thought it was a bit strange that you spotted me heading towards Verwood! Sadly I didn't see the DCi... but having got up at 5am to make the journey across I probably wasn't as alert as I should have been! How long have you been down that way now mate? Are you working in that neck of the woods, too?

I am indeed, i now live in gillingham (dorset), i work in bournemouth now for Total911 magazine, have been for around 4 months now. Verwood is on my commute but i only just found out yesterday thats were k-tec is.... Lol

Sadly I didn't see the DCi... but having got up at 5am to make the journey across I probably wasn't as alert as I should have been! How long have you been down that way now mate? Ah, ok - that would explain it! Good luck with the new role at Total911. Sounds likes it could be a lot of fun. I'm happy to do a few road tests of any 911 you may care to send my way.
