Tachometer on an rn clio!

Hi I was wondering i f i could put a tacho on my clio as i do like to know what rpm hte cars doin just 4 the hell of knowing. help!!

You would have to install a flywheel sensor - a feature that no 1.2 Energy engine Clio ever came with.

I looked into this when I had my old 1.2, without success.

yeah i thought about puttin a pulley or sunthing on the cam belt but decided against it because it would take a tiny bit of power away from my already small 1.2 clio

My car is a 1997 and I got the dials from a 1998 S.. but, the dials werent designed to work with my Ignition system - I ended up having the rev counter converted to work with mine, then I ran a cable from the EDIS module to the back of the clocks.. cost a bit in the end, but I love it.

Daz.
