Talk Talk broadband

  Megane RS 275 Trophy
Just a quick question,
Is anybody on Talk Talk broadband?
I'm thinking of joining as I pay AOL £24.99 for my broadband and then Talk Talk £15.00 a month for my phone Total = £39.99 a month
But if I join Talk Talk 3 I get the lot for £19.99 a month :D

I just wanted to know if anybody had any feedback about Talk Talk as it's an 18 month contract and I don't want to sign up if it's cr*p,
Thanks,
Billy

don't do it! I've also heard bad things about customer service and connections dropping for no reason :S

no, because you want a 'pile them high, sell them cheap' ISP, and IMO all of those type are s**t.

you get what you pay for.

Virgin is cheap, im with pipex

pipex are s**t, virgin aren't partiularly great either.

work out what you want.

a cheapo throttled service with shite customer service, or pay more money and get an unthrottled connection with an english call centre if you have problems.

I know i'm thinking about changing from pipex to be honest, never had any problems with them but there are cheaper ISP's out there which provide more or less the same service i'm receiving now!

Who are you with Adam?

There is other options, depends how much you wanna pay? what they eck is newsleecher?
Just had a quick look think the most they do is 150gb, the 5gb is only a rought guide, if you use more it's £1 a GB

^It was a joke.

People who download 100gb a month typically say when asked, they are downloading legal files like Linux distro's which weigh in at circa 4GB a piece.

i am on thinkbroadband, and in every single providers section on the forum you have people whinging about how bad they are.

what you have to bear in mind is that people who are having a good service probably won't be signed up to the forum, so it's mainly full of people bitching about how bad their service is, although sections like BT, Pipex, Sky, Talktalk, and a few others really do have a lot of complaints in there.

i'm with Talk talk, they said it would take 3 weeks to get activated, it took 7 days, i've been using them for 6 months now, without a problem, £21.50 a month with caller ID. i know people have had problems, but myself and 5 friends have all signed up, was always set up quicker that they said it would be and all haven't had a problem.

True, which is why they also have forums such as:
