Tappet noise

Got this tappet sound that won’t go away.
Defamer has been changed.
ive recorded it to help .
Any advice would be appreciated.

Oil has very recently be change with the right grade.

Sounds fine - sounds more like injectors or the carbon canister solenoid to me. I take it your phone was in the engine bay there rather than you in the car?

Mines more rattly than that! And has been for years. Carry on.

Yes
It just seems there is one tappet louder than the others all of a sudden.
It wasn’t there last time I used it.

Sounds fine - sounds more like injectors or the carbon canister solenoid to me. I take it your phone was in the engine bay there rather than you in the car?

The carbon canister is on the left hand side of the engine bay, on the inner wing near the drivers headlight. Unplug it and see if the noise goes. From that recording it sounds like it could be the culprit and if its not at least its an easy thing to rule out.
