bloody builders!!!

ive got "speckles" of tar ALL over my my 172 .

no signs to tell anyone ( i wasnt only one caught ! (honest) )

how do i get it off ?

Shall i use a small amount of white spirit ? or will that do damage?

my car was zymold treated before i collected it so hopefully it has protected the car somewhat.

its (the tar) all over the damn car ! feels like sandpaper now )-:

any help guys ?

cheers.

AutoGlym do an Intensive Tar Remover - works very well

TurtleWax also do a bug/tar remover

IMO id pay the extra 50p and use the autoglym stuff - works a treat!

To remove tar from the car, put some linseed oil on a cloth and pat the tar spots with the oil. Leave it on for approximately 10 to 15 minutes and then remoisten the cloth and clean it right off. The linseed oil will remove stickiness and will not hurt the finish of your car.

i have tried everything to get rid of exactly the same thing on my car! bloody little bits of tar all over it

nothing has got it off! tar remover, clay bar, various other stuff

it seems to have cemented itself to the paintwork!

DONT USE PETROL.............. It will damage the paintwork. (Just look at those cars that overfill at the pumps and trail the petrol down the bodywork)

Stick to the tar remover and take your time with it.
