taxing a sorn car

hi guys im going to buy a car tomorrow with no tax how do i go about taxing a car thats sorn? checked the dvla website and it isnt much help is it just a case of going to the post office with all my documents?

as long as your driving the car to the post office with the intention of taxing it it's no problem.
I had to do with it me bike, just took the new keeper supplement and explained just got it, with also proof of insurance and mot.

thanks, im gunna need to wait a few days to pick it up until my insurance papers come through so much easier doing it over the phone
