It's easy to fit yourself.

25 for the sensort £25 for the new loom if you don't have it.

Fitments easy.

Fitments easy if you have small fingers. Looms is annoying as mine had fader so couldn't tell which colour connected to which bit.

Is this the sensor that causes bad starting and slightly lumpy idle?

bad starting it could be one of the things yes. NOt sure on lumpy idle, but most RS's are lumpy on tickover

mine seems to be due to fuel pump, only on a cold start though.

My non starting prob turned out to be a flywheel sensor problem (non r-s)

its not easy for a novice i took the air filter off and i could even unclip it there is no room u also need to solder the new loom i aint touching it any one know any garages please no more do it yourself?
