Whilst enjoying the peace and quiet of the bathroom throne I read an interesting article in auto express about Techron fuel additive. Now I normally think these things do very little as I have never noticed any difference after a bottle of redex. This one has had an independent test carried out and seems to be working though.
As the DCI was a little hesitant starting yesterday I've bought a bottle. Thoughts, reviews.....GO! I'll be reporting back shortly.
It's in petrol and diesel guises and seems to be sold by the bundle in the US

Here's the article
"Independent testing by Emissions Analytics, an emissions testing company, has revealed a new product. This new product really works. Called Techron Concentrate Plus for Petrol Engines and Techron D Concentrate for Diesel Engines.
22 Petrol and Diesel cars with mileages between 30k and 50k, were subjected to 480 emmissions and economy tests.
In petrol cars, average mpg increased by 9% and power increased by 3%.
In Diesel cars, average mpg increased by 8% and power increased by 3%.
Techron claims the average car would only need additives once or twice a year. Prices start at £15 approx per bottle."
