Would expect the Teg to pull away like that really. I was reading about an RR day in my JTuner mag and CTRs/ITRs were getting up to 26bhp from just exhaust and filter...

The DC4 has 190bhp and about 130 lbs/ft. Presuming the DC2 is the same as a DC4 engine wise...

Mind you it looks like the vid takes place at high speeds - Gearing in ph1 Clio 172's is gay at high speeds. Sounds like he gets some clutch slippage 3rd to 4th too.

Nah, not a DC5. Well i reckon they're going above 60 lol. Despite being obviously bigger it doesn't actually weigh that much more than the Clio. I won't say the speed i was doing but i was going pretty fast the other day and had a bloody 1 series 118d on my arse the whole way so wouldn't be suprised to see a Teg pass me.

just been for a play in my dads evo8 fq 340..damn thats quick i got to 150 but let off cos its silly speeds. it used to me limited at 157! nothing could keep up with me, oni thing i dont like is that the turbo sort of spools up at about 4k but u dont really feel the kick till about 5ish 6k

I can believe it. All the 2.0 Clios are pap after 90 (on a private test track).

Mine pulls harder now it's modded, but it's only realyy now upto the performance level you expect standard. lol.

Theres a bloke that goes my gym thats selling his Teg DC5 53 plate with 14k on it for £14,000. He's moddded it to hell, its pushing out 270bhp now. Chipped, Vtec controller, manifold, exhaust, filter, coilies, bushings, 4pots.
