temp car insurance?

folks - my girlfriend is doing her driving test tomorrow (fingers crossed) but as a little present if she passes I want to get her temp car insurance on my car even for a week just so she can do a bit of driving, the only thing is shes only 20 and alot of companys on seem to give insurance out if the drivers going to be 21 + does anyone know where i can get this ?

thanks mark one - beef-mc i'll give it a go the only thing is i crashed at the start of the year an I dont want my insurance goind through the roof if shes only going to stay on for a few weeks or months at the most.. but as its my only option I'll see what effect price wise it has on my insurance suppose it may not be as much due to me stil being the main driver

does insurance go down if you take a high risk driver off the policy??

if so then just add her to your existing cover and take her off when you want.

temp cover is a complete ripoff tbh,

also i thought you could only have one policy on a car at any given time??

thanks for all the info. sadly she didnt pass 1 major and 6 minors (stopped too far forward at lights as some git stopped in the road then indicated and she waited as she didnt know where traffic was coming from!) but anyway - I phoned the insurance company and said no problem they can add her on for free! thanks to everyone as soon as she passes she'll be on for free good old quinn direct! everyone seems to hate them but they're alright really!
