Temp gauge problem.

Please could someone point me in the right direction.....
I fitted a chipped ECU last night and now my Temp gauge is always at the bottom of the gauge. could it be a sensor or maybe the new ECU..???

what car is it, ensure the connector for the ecu is connected properly, check the wiring to the temp sensor , the accual sensors are pretty rugged its the wiring that can become snaged or frayed

sorry, its a 172 cup. where is the sensor..??

Sensor on the same place top side of the blokc on the passenger/gearbox side of the engine.

if you replaced the ecu you may have knocked the wire as they are near each other, check all plugs etc........
