temp guage

My temp guage is goin daft says its 59 deg outside at the moment, then the next its normal ie more like 2 deg, anyone elses do it

Think it does that when its not connected properly, or is just generally buggered and needs replaced.

it can stay buggered then I know when its hot or cold, old car done this just before I got rid too and now this one near enough as soon as I got it.
