Temperamental washers :S

I've tried the search bar, but my washers seem abit weird!


Basically my windscreen washers have stopped working. The first time it happened was about 2 months ago, was about to leave work and the windscreen washers stopped working completely.. No noise from the motor at all, did the same on the rear window, only noise I got was where it was trying to clean the headlights (wish don't work at all) and as I was 2 minutes up the road there was a random squirt of water on the windscreen and since then they worked perfectly fine

i had my car mot'd this morning and on the way there they decided they didn't want to work again... Great timing I know!

I don't really want to have to change the motor as I've heard it's a ballache, but I don't know why they would sometimes work and sometimes stop all together? Is there something I've missed? And yes there is water in them lol


any help/ideas would be brill!

Hi i had same problem couple of weeks ago i ended up replacing the motor for the washers and they were fine! It's actually not that much of a ball ache to change them there's a guide on here somewhere!

Had a feeling it would be! Tried the washers today and they're still not working so the motor is defiantly dead!

Ill have a look for it, cheers pal
