Temperature guage drops to zero, revs raise car stalls

Ok i can be idling or driving and my temperature bars will dissapear, the revs will then raise like the choke has come on, then it will completely die.

Does this then ten minutes later it will be fine, has anyone got an idea?

i have tried to look for it but im useless, where is it? and what does it look like?

it will be the temp sensor its on the the end of the engine block.

common issue but check the wiring as well it can short etc.

Mine did this a couple of times just after i bought it . Just wiggle the wire for the temp sensor it might just be a loose connection . Mines been alright ever since ( touch wood ) for the past cpuple of years
