terrible knocking sound on full accelerat

any ideas what it is - engine mounts? gearbox about to let go? only provoked when pedal slammed to the metal - ie most of the time!!

They all do it. Its a combination of the hard wall contis and the suspension loading and unloading.

Improvements have been known through changing to a soft wall or other tyre and Apex 30mm drop springs helped on mine.

Its not a fault as such

Ok thanks - I m running yokohamas but the pressures are high as i alway run them high and the weathers warmed up so thats why iv started to notice it i suppose ...

I had the same problem but it was the something to do with the engine mounts or gear box bushes? They sorted it out but it went again and has been fixed again recently.
