Congrats Giles! :approve:
Although, surely there can't be much difference in cost between a vee and a 197? Tough choice!

V6 is group 20 & 197 is 15, the v6 will cost more to run.:)

Two completely different cars, a vee will cost you a bit more to run - but look at them, who on earth doesn't like vee's ?

A 197 will depreciate loads, the vees are holding up well.

Vee prices have seriously firmed up over the last 6 months. Food for thought is - if you did by a vee, from financial point of view (buying then selling at a later date) you can't lose IMHO.

Yeah I would defintely try and get a vee for that money. As Steve and others said, it will hold it's value better. But then it does cost more to run on the downside. Worth it though, they look the nuts!

I still recon you should go for a V6 for the price you can pick them up even the extra costs etc you'll still be better of with the low milage you do.

I'm sure a V6 would cost less to run over 3yrs. If (only speculation) the magazine's are right, and a turbo 197 may be released, I could see NA prices suddenly taking a big hit.

It won't be though.

the V6 though yes with low milage should be cheaper to by and run over a few years. The 197 will take a huge depreciation hit the V6 shoulnd't so long as milage is kept down.
