test drove...

a 182 this morning. too nervous to remember much really lol. the one i drove was a FF but the chap also has a cup to sell, which i am more interested in. cups done 30k, seems to be in immaculate condition, 1 owner, 2 past services on an 05 plate. wants £7700. is this a good price?

id like the FF for all the goodies (xenons, climate, leather etc) but i love the cup blue and the FF didnt have either of the cup packs.

It seems a good price to me, although i'd rather have a normal 182 with both cup packs on it.

If so the black gold one is mine, must have missed you by minutes mate lol. pickin it up sunday. The racing blue was in good nick, i took a quick look around it looked smart!

There's a few on Pistonheads with cup packs and Recaro seats for just under £9k, so if you can stretch the budget a little...

you should easily be able to find one with cup packs for under £8k once you have negotiated prices down. you may have to be prepared to travel a long way to get what you want tho, I live in London and ended up buying one from a guy in Newcastle!

The black one was the one I was intentionally goin to look at but he did say he'd got someone coming to have a look. Thought id go look at the others anyway. you got a nice car there mate at a really good price!

can you get FFs in racing blue? is there much difference in performance between Cup + FF? think i could do without the toys seeing as its a good price, try and find some recaros for it at a later date maybe.

Yeah mate you can get Racing Blues in FF with all the toys etc. That racing blue being a cup would beat the FF to 60 by about 0.00001 seconds from what i have gathered.

The racing blue was the best out of the two he had id say, you can pick up the FF interior for a few hundred as theres a few on same on here at the moment! He does specialise in renault sports though, so perhaps worth keeping an eye on his website because soon as i collect mine next sunday i guess he'll be out to buy another?

apart from leather/alacantra, climate and xenons, is there anything else the cup is short of? as said i can find recaros to replace seats, climate... never needed it before and if iv never had a wont know what im missing...? lol xenons... can i afford a replacement £200 bulb? again, something iv never had so i can do without. the cup has the novelty of being slightly more rare?

sorry im weighing up the pros and cons, but i will keep my eye out for a FF providing price is right.
