That Silver Thing..

I pulled the old girl out of the garage today and gave it a quick wipe over. Nothing major as it will be IPA'd over the next few days and prepped for WaxStock 2014 in a couple of weeks.

Went for a quick spin to grab a few photos..

Its pretty much exactly where I want it to be now so going to enjoy it and then decide whether to keep it as a garage queen and buy a daily at the end of the summer or sell up and get something else.

I just think they make the front end look a bit more aggressive and less fussy without the washer jets.. Plus the bloody thinks always leak so just one less thing to worry about lol!

Where can you get these seats from? :O

You can't buy them unfortunately mate.. They are custom retrimmed, however, you can get similar seats called Recaro Speed's.

Dude the car is amazing. If I end up doing the same with the seat's then its all you're fault.

Now I'm going to be really picky, the clamps that hold the induction hose can you not turn them around so you don't see the big ugly bit???

Failing that can you not replace them with stainless steel hose clips as the induction hose doesn't need to be held on by so much clamping force.

Looking forward to seeing you and the car at CSS mate.

Thanks man! I really liked the clamps at first but I am not so sure recently.. I may consider replacing them with some stainless hose clips, we will see.

Cheers Gally.. Just over 2 years now, the longest I have owned a car by quite some margin. In fact, it's probably the only car that I have really bonded with.

The long haul, I'm not sure yet. I have spent so much time, effort and money getting the car to the stage where I am happy that I am now too scared to take it anywhere. I won't use it in the wet, I won't take it anywhere and leave it for a few hours and I don't give it hell incase I get stone chips. It's pretty sad really and it stops me enjoying the car which is a great shame.

Ah I ended up the same with my first Frp mate. That is such a shame to hear because I have been there and it's s**t. It's become a show pony. Horrible position to be in.

Luckily I was using my Frp daily so I was almost forced to use it which was good but I just spend the entire time worrying about it. Joking aside and trolls aside, it attracted attention and that's not always going to be good. Your car would stand out a mile!!!
