that thing on the windscreen

whats the little square bit in the middle of the windscreen. like a small square sticker???

not sure if its just a V6 thing or what?

It's a gap to put sat-nav road angels, because the rest of the screen is UV reflective.

are you talking about the little bit above the coin tray at the very bottom of your screen? or the bit behind the rear view?

That sensor at the top is for the auto wipers, its a rain sensor.

you right. its for toll passes to be mounted on the window with out being blocked by the UV protective sun block on the window.

the windscreen is solar reflective (doesnt allow gps signals etc in) the gap is there to allow gps signals thru. like a lot of people hav already said so far, its for toll booths in france.. and also for sat navs etc.

Renault windscreens have an "anti-UV coat" on them.
The gap is simply to aid sat nav aerials etc.

I hadn't heard of the "automatic French tolls" until now but that now sounds an equal explanation.
Clever French getting us all thinking about a small, square gap in our windscreen coat.:star:
