Good efforts, what set up do you use?

Canon 400d with tripod and remote.... pretty standard. Few filters arrived this morning so looking forward to giving them a whirl.

Tried different settings etc- but very much an experimental afternoon trip out. Thanks though matey

Also, this is Cleveleys/Blackpool beach.... proof (even for me) that it's not all ses and dead donkeys on there. It was a gorgeous afternoon!

Yeah- not quite mastered that one! Any tips?

There's a couple of things you can try. Some cameras allow you to switch on gridlines in the viewfinder so you can line up the horizon with a line - don't know what camera you have but you can definitely do it with some Nikons. Also, you can get a spirit level type device that fits on the flash hotshoe... eg http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=99125

Nice pics mate!
Thought it looked familiar - I took some photos from pretty much the same place, maybe a little further round. I didn't know really where it was, was driving home from Blackpool and stopped as it was a gorgeous sunset!
