you can just get a blunt instrument behind them and ping them off but its risky as the clips snap, a more long winded way of doing it is to slide the whole side strip to the rear and then depressing the clips by hand and they come off nicely, the strips take abit of force to get them off tho

I've not done it yet to be honest. I bought a set a couple of weeks ago from a member on here but he snapped the clips upon removal. I was gutted.

I'm going to take real care when I get them through as I don't want to have to whip the silicone out.

i've changed mine over numerous times pull the edge out dirft then pull down and back then up i havent snapped any clips

i loved my old ones that were smoothed off, as the local chavs would try to read what was on them and then look perplexed when they were blank lol

Can you elaborate on that Bruce? What do you mean by drift? If I was removing the drivers side badge for example, whaich way would I work?

take the bump strips off first then remove the badge.

do it properly, simple!

open the doors and grip the bump strip, it will then slide back with a bit of effort.

Once you've removed the bump strips once, they're pretty easy to remove and put back on again repeatedly.

Agreed about doing it properly though, if you try to just pry them off you'll end up breaking them. If you see how they're held on behind the strip, you can see why!

I've just put a set on mine. I love it when you smoke some bmw then when he pulls up at the lights, see him glance over and do a double take of the 1.2 badges!!!

I just pull the badges off with my fingers, haven't bust any yet.

EDIT to my above comment. The strips are still buggers to get off! My ph2's slid off really easily, went to remove my ph1's again today and they're stuck fast, cheeky b******s!
