The cause of my problem?

Is this what is causing the a big clunking noise when I'm coming to a stop or turning sometimes?
I also get a lot of judder in the car on tickover. I'm guessing this is why...

Haha, it does.
Took it to a garage and they done a few stress tests. They said they were fine and some movement is normal.
I'm still not convinced.

Mate, my drive is about as level as @ADS1982 s head.
Plus I don't have the tools here to do it.
I might have a couple of jobs done at the same time anyway with regards to other mounts / bushes.
Where abouts are you tom? Mobile version doesn't tell you location.

This is why I don't trust any mechanics other than on here.
I'm no mechanic and can hear it clunking, he said there was no clunk.
I showed him video. He said he cant hear anything. Dick.
Thinking of getting some of those vibra ones.
How many engine mounts are there, may as well change the lot.
Have got the dog one and top mounts already uprated.

No mate, I don't have any socket sets at home. Only got my diy tools here.
Have got some at works unit though. Can they just work loose then instead of completely shatting themselves?

Ok, ill have a look at that.
I do get a lot of judder inside the car which you can visibly see from outside. Don't know if that is normal?
This is what made me check the mounts in the first place.
That, aswell as this clunk I'm getting sometimes when turning at low speeds or slowing down under load.
The clunk seems more ball joint relates to me although it did pass mot with nothing advised.

on a serious note mate,i 172 i had years ago had this and was an engine mount, might as well change them all,the uprated gearbox dogbone puts more stress on other mounts, esp if their weak.
And dont go posting those pictures i sent you of my head

If there is room between the rubber and the steel part, there is room for movement. This will most likely be the cause of the issue (it was in my case). Right side the old shot one.
