Not an audi fan but this:

Shows nicely what can be done without using daft special effects, the car only appears for a second, but the style of direction, lighting and music all prime you for the final shot which makes the vehicle look all the more menacing.

no i do but its been done before and becides we defo aint got cgi to hand have we, i like the clio turbo video, more semi edited footage in short spurts like that i think we need, not too sure on how many stills can be used tho, maybe have a section towards the end of the still pics, like the ones in the calender 08 section, i like the clio in the docks against the ship oooooo and i like the photoshops of the blue clio in a black and white background

that would be a nice video effect actually, a blue, red and liquid yellow clio in the clio sport colours doing some fancy driving on track with a monochrome background (Who's up for frame by frame editing!!!
), That might make a nice intro to a vid....

yes! i like i like, all the clio sport coloures in sequence 1 after another with an equal distance between them going around a corner would be cool with the black and white back ground, that would be a good start actually and im sure it can be done,
also.......
i love the shots pointing up at the sky with lets say the rear light and clio sport badges on the boot in shot so we can alter the colour of the sky and the speed the clouds move, i think last year top gear used a lot of this and changed the direction and speed of the clouds throughout the shot, thats pretty easy if any1 wants to film that, just set the camera up on a cloudy day, but make sure there are bits of sky in there aswel not just clouds and leave the camera roll for 30 mins

cool back to the business end of it, when is the next track day thingy, look i dont know too much about them and would like sum1 to look for me, pleeeeeeeez a real busy 1 and a good track, because we can put a lipstick camera in the front bumper down low pointing at the car in front hopefully if they go into the corner side bt side it should catch the other clio lifting the back wheel up, nice!!

A couple of days spent searching media would turn up enough gems to make a nice little show reel.

will do, ill have a look, but im in the director team:approve: , not so good at actually editing, i think we need the best of the best some1 with a lot more experience so we can just tell him/her what we want

This is my remote control car idea and i think it would really work and its quite cheap to do, like rich said its probably best to do it on an airfield because its nice and long

hey im going to learn how to use that editing suite that rich sent a link to a couple of posts up and have a go at the material thats been posted already, so you guys can get an idea of what im trying to achieve, but if any1 else feels like having a go please do because it will give the video a great style with a combination of ideas from all of us, doesn't matter how big or small the idea nothing will be overlooked, and ive read on here the new series of Top Gear is starting so keep your eyes peeled how they are editing their car sequences and what you like about it, then we'll just 'borrow' the style
