Thought I would share a recent set from Ragley Hall Classic Show May 2015 - our restored MK5 RS2000 third outing.
The old girl got a nice surprize 'best in class' (>1980's Saloons), I fell over with glee.
Is it just a rolling chassis?
My granddad had one identical to that about 25 years ago! An old Y reg I think it was.
He knows naff all about cars & bought it at a boot sale lol! When he was asked about the mileage etc, he said dunno it's on zero, new engine you see. Yeah, it had been clocked and the engine in it was fooked! He kept it till he gave up driving.

Are you putting webbers on the xflow?
[emoji8][emoji8]I hate/love you Stu.
A guy at work has a black one. Apparently the third one ever built?
I love them, always wanted one.
I'm just on lunch at the moment but will ask him on my return. (He sits on the desk opposite me)Hey Daniel
It is possible to get the build number for these from RSOC.
VPH is build #398, one of the early ones from 1991 although not registered until a year later, you probably know - but Ford struggled to sell them, so think building this style stopped in 1992 and they re-did the styling - these later MK5b and MK6 don't quite have the character though.
If you want one, then get one now, as I pretty sure the price will be rising in a year or two - getting towards their 25th birthday, but finding one without rust......hmm!
Never thought much about it at the time, but now wish I still had some of my old skool Frusters.
Cheers -Col.
