The Ford Appreciation Thread

That mk2 escort at the top of post 149 is looks mint. That colour on that body shape is so mean and purposeful.

It was at the Blackpool Stages in the rally village, must be about the best ive seen in terms of preperation! Colour is awesome, Had a N/A 2.5 Millington diamond engine in with a Sequential. About the 320bhp mark but its not cheap!! Think the engine is like 20k on its own or somewhere around there :O

Nothing amazing but my recent fiesta st.

from memory, it was a 1700 cc?? (I may be completely wrong)

My Dad's had a couple of cars featured in Classic Ford and had his Anglia on their stand at NEC classic car show :)

I know a bloke like that, he just tinkers with his classic bikes and builds Tritons. (Triumph engine with a Norton frame)

However I know another bloke that's built a Cobra rep with a Rover V8 in it,
i'll be checking that out this Saturday, i'll try and get some pics but my DSLR's broken.

One of the guys I work with has a Mk2 4-Door, with a 2.2 Pinto on twin Webbers, hydraulic handbrake assembly, I think its Willwood brakes and its beige, its awesome.

I'll get a few pictures when I can.

I'm there dude, 13th of August this year.

I remember going to work in Stratford when it was on last year,
so many fap worthy cars on the commute there and back.

I'm now desperate to get my Cortina project on the go,
although having the money to buy a decent one is a problem at the moment. :dapprove:

I want Raz to get a Saph Cossie asap so we can all get stuck into it!

There's a tidy Mk2 Tina just down the road from me. Was with Chip and Lesley looking at that Viper engined 3dr. Really nice build.
