The Blue one is driven by Andrew Gallacher and is around 784bhp

I believe the blue focus can do knockhill race track in around 51 secs.

Andy & Charlie are crazy.

Just youtube Charlie Shaw or Andrew Gallacher

The blue one is pretty much full carbon fibre body wrapped around a space frame chassis so yeah the running gear isn't standard lol. They are two very good pilots and quite well known in UK.

This is a quality video from years ago when they still had Escorts, most will complain of driving standards at a trackday, I think its ace.

Few of my old XR2, only car I wish I kept but I didnt have the cash for or know anywhere to keep it through the winters. Had pretty much every extra from factory, head rests, both front seatbelts and wing mirrors, parcel shelf etc etc, was on 56,000 mile when I got it and had only had paint on the drivers door due to a bash.

Nice spec too with Gaz coilovers, Ashley manifold, piper exhaust and piper cross filter.

Oh my.... how that brings back some very fond memories for me. It looks identical to my old XR2, only with a few less miles on it. Such great little cars, even if the 4 speed box left me continually looking for another gear when I hadn't used it on a motorway for a while lol. Thanks for sharing your pics dude. Is the car still about? Know where it is now?

Yeah awesome fun, twin choke carb made it feel like a turbo when it kicked in tbh, I was 19 at the time haha. The car was sold to a guy who was going to run it from Peterhead area to Aberdeen daily for work, around an 80 mile journey, it will probably be wrecked now or have a severe case of car cancer. I did see it a year or so later at a petrol station, doubled back got the guys number and offered to buy it back, he didn't want to at the time. He had removed the stickers and it looked a shadow if its former self, I lost the number and have never seen it again, I would have another in a s**t but they have really started climbing in value now and silver ones are like rocking horse ****.

Forgot that I had a flickr account and opened it up yesterday and found these, loads from Crail, I'd guess about 5 years ago or so.

A lovely FRS parked next to my brother's 182 today. People really aren't kidding when they say cars are getting bigger and bigger.

Ok to take this thread to the next level, does anyone have any 'period' photos of old fords they've owned back in their heyday? Would love to see some 80's/90's shots of xr's, rs turbos to spark of some real old ford nostalgia.

Totally forgot I had these, I took them at a car meet a few years ago,
talking about Cossies in GC reminded me I had them.
