The Halfords Zymol cleaner wax...

Did my GF car with it today. Was lovely.

First we washed it with some sh*tty soapy stuff. Then I used Autoglym Super Resin Polish...then I used Autoglym Paint Renovator where I needed too...then if that didnt work I resorted to T-Cut Metallic (cue cloth turning paintwork colour - not good lol).

Then I slapped the wax on. Its not Zymol Zymol but it WAS one of the only bottles in Halfords that I was sure of what it would do. All of the others were Polish-Wax or Wax-Polish and I had no idea whether I would be cutting or waxing and feeding etc etc etc.

Anyway...it smelt lovely and was one of the best ive used in that price bracket (granted so far Ive only used stuff like Turtlewax and Autoglym and Mer - eugh!)

The real Zymol is staying at my house waiting for the 182! The GFs motor is an old R plate Fiesta with more dings and scratches than I care to mention!

I use it just because I dont have fortunes to throw on this stuff..

Its alright, takes a fair bit of effort to get it non-streaky though!!

I have no problems with Mer. Quick, easy and cheap. Looks good and leaves a nice shine. Finish it off with Meguirs #16 Carnauba Wax every month or so if I have the time.
