I've just been trying this on a Phase 2 172 with headlight washers.

but at no point does anyone say how to remove the bit that goes into the pump, it's on solid so I can't get the black & white parts out! there no pics either of it, so as I don't have it apart, I don't know what I'm supposed to be cutting off!!
There seems to be some conflict there too - someone says that the pumps are the same, someone else says they aren't - they look to me to be the same!!
I would have replied in that thread, but it's locked :S so yeah, thanks for that!! If anyone can help out that would great, otherwise I'm off to buy another pump!
