Not long got back from a long weekend camping. Went over to Oulton Park for some Formula 4 racing on Saturday (and to watch Sir Chris Hoy drive like a nutter in his new sport, the SR1 Cup) and for a few walks.

Will do another thread for Oulton park once I've sifted through the out of focus/ terrible shots.
Wanted to get some star trails but being in Cheshire, there was a hell of a lot of light pollution around and could hardly see anything! Typical! I just know that of I'd of haded over to Snowdonia, there would have been cloud!

Done a quick Orb on our first night in the tent. I think I inspired a few kids i the field to start winging torches and other lit objects around like loons!

Cheers guys. Was proper fooked though after getting up yesterday for work at 3.30 am! Had to have a large coffee and a can of monster to keep me awake. Delayed reaction to it though and only ended up having 3 hours sleep last night! Going to be a long day!

I will be going back in the winter to get a good few hours and will probably use a grad filter upside down to try to cut some of the pollution .

Yes it's unbelievable mate! The island is basically completely limestone, and limestone lines the bottom of the see around there so the blue is so vivid it almost looks fake but it's beautiful!

Very nice, non-rigged? This looks so much more natural than most stuff out there. A few little details let the side down a tiny bit...the reflection of the white camera car and the main subject being in the shadows. Really like it though.
