Popped into Renault Tonbridge today to get my key replaced

They said the key was £100 and reprogramming it was another £100 and that's without VAT.

So a new key costs £240 lads


LUCKILY the parts guy there opened my key, poked the solder with a knife and my key worked again! He gave me his number and said If it breaks again he will solder it properly for £20!!!!

Get in there!!!

I paid about £100 last year for a new key and remote from Renault for a 1.2! God knows why they're trying to charge so much....

so basically you have to buy a new one then, just wondered as some cars you can get a fob from another ie scrapyard and recode them to yours.
