Another day working on Djw Daves clio!!

Well what do you think, in with a shout?

ANd to sort the huge camber at the front we had to erm 'adjust' the hub like so

and a tiny bit of filing on the coilover which you cant really see

Had to leave sharpish due to running out of time but will get new pics up soon!

Can you explain how you modified the coilovers in more detail?

I have the same kit running slightly too much negative camber!

Well what we figured out we need to do was to trim the hub down by about 1cm (you can kinda see the grinding marks in the pic) and then needed to file about 1-2mm out of the bottom hole on the shock, allowed much more movement and seems to have sorted the huge negative camber!!

Well there a storty behind everything. And heres mines. Having ran out of cash and well time as well. I had to do something drastic. I sold my corsa!

Paid off some debt and (here it comes) put the 1.4 back in! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I am trully gutted

but.... all the "prep" has been done for the turbo lump. Fuel pump, suspension, brakes etc etc

so once i have the turbo finished it will just slide in there!! Joy

Yeah RSi beam, bargain as well

Yeah just waiting for Dave to save some cash and then the last few bits can be done to the engine and it can be dropped in in a day or 2, cant wait!

Mines scrapes, everywhere, but the 172 wheels are really the wrong offset

my mates got 172 wheels on his valver and that scrapes a bit.

mine is stripped out too, so i definately will not be having any passengers!! even if it wasnt i wouldnt be having any!

Not with koni shocks on it wont! Well hopefully anyway. Dave is getting some 3mm spacers for the back due to the tyre touching the shock bolt at the moment and it has spacers ont front as the F1s are hugely the wrong offset!! (ET43)

Yeah... look how "low" my car is at the back!

The car understeers WAY too much when its lowered at the back like this... I've had mine that low; and its crap. Comprimising handling so you can look like a 2CV is a bit odd. :/
