The lowwwwwww ph2 - Progress Thread

Well i know all of you on here loved f0xy's ph2 and well so did i. This is why i will be remaking it. It was by far the best 1.2 16v Dynamique ive ever seen :D and well as my car is exactly the same model and year but not colour its the perfect project as ive got my car for one more year.

Ive just put a clio sport rear bumper on and this is how it looks

Still need to get the trim and get it painted. The reason its just primed and not painted is im off to pro-speed on the 9th for a new exhaust :D and well i havent got time to get it painted. Before people ask if ive been to the ring i havent would like to go though :eek:


This weekend will be the day i fit the coilovers with the custom rear springs i got cant wait to go lowwww;)

Cup spoiler

rear spacers 10mm
front strut brace
two racing seat with sub frames
half cage
ktr 285mm cross-drilled brakes front only
ktr top mounts


Maybe if i have the cash put a 2.0 in it but that's a maybe lol

is the list good ? have i missed anything ? :eek:

will update regularly :) as ive just got a new job and the pay is great so you can guess where its all going lol

Back wayyyy before every car on here had different color wingmirrors and badges lol.

Sometimes I wish I had kept it....but it was too slow and there was nothing else that could be done to it really!

could have put the 2.0 in it lol but the car look soo good. Simple is very effective ;)

I'm feeling like that with mine at the minute. Love how it looks but wish it had more power.

you need to get a rear drivers side light with numbers written on it on the inside aswell - if my memory serves me correctly

Hah ! I had a rear passenger side light on my dynamique with yellow numbers written on it that I bought from f0xy :D


I sanded them off though :eek:

that's a tough buy without a full new RS bumper. Ask for a quote from renault. If not, you'll be looking for a car with a nasty rear end smash but that trim has been unharmed.....not so easy.

renault are going to ask like a £1million for a bit of plastic do u think i should get the carbon firbre one ?

foxy's car was awesome, one major thing that made the car was the colour combo's though, the cage, mirror caps and wheel writing, then the black wheels and the colour of the car

Would've looked awesome if renault had made 1*2's in that colour

Personally though if it was mine I'd take idea's from all over the forum, obviously foxy's was a nice car but id never make my own car look like someone else's, its all about individuality in my eyes

im not going to make it 99% the same as it in the wrong colour but will make it very similar ;) im going to paint the uprated brakes when i get them.

No idea mate.

If you're going that low thouhg I'd use airbags just for driveability (personally). I'd hate to be permanently that low.

You'd feel like a prison b**ch in no time.

my dad is going to take to a huge scrap yard that specializes in french cars so ill probz find one their and maybe a few other things ;)

I'm sorry. They are 'rated'? 'Rated' in what way? who does this 'rating'? LoL

But anyway. I wasn't discussing performance. I just don't think they look that good that's all. Nothing compared to a nice set of billet 4 pots (willwoods Hi-spec etc).

upgrading to 172 brakes was the best thing i ever did fact
