my brother done something wierd with my car...

he like started it up, whilst holding a button on the end of a lever, the one on the right hand side of my steering wheel?

it done these check things?

what exactly is it, if you can actually me??

yeah, they all do it, just hold the button on the end of the stalk in and turn the ignition

not really sure of the purpose of it

Its called the dash display check , it will test all the bulbs ,dials on the display ......you will see what lights up or not
